Many upscale apartment buildings are known by name to the public, such as the San Remo, one of the three most prestigious buildings on the Upper West Side (the other two being the Dakota and the Beresford). Of course, all three are on Central Park West. Their profiles are unmistakable and can be seen from many areas in the park. This is most impressive, especially after I clicked on it.
Dustin Hoffman sold his place (2.5 floors - 740 square meters) in 2002 for $25 million. In 2002 Steve Jobs (Apple) sold a place to Bono (U2) for $18 million. You get the idea...
