There's nothing temperate about this zone and people are taking opportunities to enjoy the hints of spring as soon as and whenever they are available. We have gone from a low of 11 degrees last week to a predicted 69 degrees tomorrow. Clothing is being shed, the streets and parks are filling up and windows are being opened. Window watching - from both sides of the glass - is a popular pastime in the city - the rewards usually payoff with all the activities to see. This brings back memories of the wonderful classic Hitchcock film Rear Window,

It's amazing people still smoke as it is...
very liberating photo..with the first signs of spring come new choices and decisions...i wonder if they know each other well?
Wow, this is a great captured! Look at those huge windows! I think she's sitting there without any danger, and in the other window we can see a guy inside the building... And the reflections are also very nice, well done Brian!
Venau & mars Dating; dsole - Thanks. I had to shoot that photo through a dirty glass window - if I opened my window it would have been too obvious. I have a few other shots -some with and without the guy. One with his hand on her leg. It was tought to choose.

Great capture and a great reference! I love the movie and never knew it took place in Greenwich Village!
It's a great photo, for all the reasons previous commenters have already mentioned. Still, it gives me the jitters! A classmate of a friend of mine fell to her death from the 7th floor of the Washington Square dorm of the NYU a couple of years ago. Students there used to sit on the window ledge all the time.
Really nice !!
Uma das melhores que aqui vi passar.
Consigo imaginar-lhes o diálogo.
Obrigada.

I really love this photo and "Rear window" film comparing. Great !
What a beautiful beautiful shot! Well balanced, colourful, suggestive...
The fact that it was taken level doesn't let you guess that this is the fourth floor. Wow ! Love your caption 'living on the edge' !
